This 1800-1820 Dutch Empire watercolored miniature on ivory (elephant) has been decoupaged onto a Japanese saucer with hand painted violets and embellished with gold. I have been unable to identify the makers mark but the design is identical to an antique Rossetti pattern.

I use these saucers as vanity or bedside table trinket dishes or I hang them as frames.
