This 1890s portrait of a young, royal, German girl in a sailor suit has been decoupaged onto a French, whiteware saucer originally decorated with gold gilt and hand-painted flowers made by Laviolette between 1896 and 1905.

I use these saucers as vanity or bedside table trinket dishes or I hang them as frames.
